Nice, large antique oak sideboard, buffet, server cabinet.
Cabinet has a door on each side which opens into HUGE
storage areas. Two very large dove tailed constructed
drawers for plenty of place to store things.
Structurally this piece is in excellent condition ... sturdy,
strong and tight construction. Cosmetically it does have
surface marks which are mostly on the top. I tried to
capture the top best I could in the photos. Easily covered
with a runner ... or ... paint it the going thing, shabby chic !!!
I think the blemishes give it character and charm ... but all in
the eyes of the beholder.
Uses for this piece are limited only by your imagination :-)

The Brickwede furniture manufacturing company was in
Marietta Ohio from xxxx to xxxx. The company gets its
name from the Brickwede brothers who owned the company.
They shipped furniture by train to New York, Chicago and
even San Francisco. Brickwede Brothers started out making
tea wagons in xxxx. They were still making them in xxxx
and selling them in Marietta through Marietta Furniture
Company.
